Forthcoming Ekklesia Events

As the summer draws to a close, we'd like to highlight the forthcoming events over the next couple of months.

August 30th: Ekklesia is delighted to return to Greenbelt where COO Virginia Moffatt will be hosting a panel 'Is the Right to Offend Sacred?'. Participants will be Professor Mona Siddiqui, Professor Islamic and Interreligious Studies Edinburgh University; Robert Cohen, blogger at Micah's Paradigm Shift; Anjum Anwar, interfaith worker at Blackburn Cathedral and Joy Wallis, US ex-pat vicar. It promises to be a stimulating discussion. 4.15pm, Pagoda.

September 26th: Virginia Moffatt will be speaking at Pax Christi's conference, 'Women and Peacemaking. Personal and Political.' at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, 10-4pm. More details can be found here.

October 6th: Launch of 'Sexuality, Struggle and Saintliness: Same Sex Love and the Church' by Ekklesia Associate, Savitri Hensman. More details to follow.

October 13th: In partnership with our friends at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church we are delighted to be hosting Peter Tatchell and the Rev Sally Hitchener in what looks to be fascinating conversation on sexuality and the church. More details soon.
