UK economy '£140bn smaller than Chancellor planned' says TUC
The UK economy is £140 billion smaller than the government predicted in 2010, according to new analysis published yesterday (13 March) by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) in its Budget statement.

Legal proceedings against UK government over arms to Saudi Arabia
Law firm Leigh Day, representing Campaign Against Arms Trade, has begun formal legal action in the High Court to challenge the government's decision to export arms to Saudi Arabia. This follows increasing evidence that Saudi forces are violating international humanitarian law in Yemen.

MPs launch new Conscience Objection Bill
March 2nd 2016 marked 100 years since the first inclusive right of conscientious objection became law in the United Kingdom.
