Anti-nuclear campaigners will mark the 7th anniversary of the Fukushima disaster on Sunday 11 March 2018 outside the Japanese Embassy in London before marching to a rally opposite Parliament.

Kate Hudson, general secretary of he Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), said: "Seven years on since the Fukushima disaster, the Japanese government remains unable to contain one of the worst nuclear accidents in the history of nuclear power. Thousands of people are still unable to return to their homes because of radioactive leaks.

"We will bear witness to the ongoing effects of the Fukushima disaster and demand that our government abandons plans for a new generation of nuclear power stations."
