The EU-Turkey deal has resulted in approximately 40,000 people seeking asylum being trapped in appalling conditions in the five EU ‘hotspot’ refugee camps on the Greek islands, says Oxfam.

Three new reports bring together first-hand accounts of young refugees and asylum-seekers and those who support them across the UK.

Signatories are from all faiths and include 33 rabbis, twenty Church of England bishops, Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and a dozen Quakers.

The Court of Appeal has ruled that the Home Office’s policy on deciding the age of young people seeking asylum is unlawful and must be rewritten, as it fails to ensure that children are not mistakenly treated as adults.
