Quakers in Britain have joined a group of UK-based humanitarian, development, human rights and faith organisations to oppose further illegal Israeli annexation of occupied Palestine.

The plan would crystalise a 21st century apartheid, says the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967.

A UN expert has voiced concern about lack of human rights accountability in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, pointing to the actions of “an occupying power seemingly bent on further territorial annexation”.
