Crisis has described the rise in rough sleeping in England as a ‘catastrophe’, saying the true number of rough sleepers is far greater than the government's offical count.

On any given night in England, 26,000 single people are facing homelessness across the country. Most of them have very few support needs and cannot find a home, according to Crisis, the national charity for homeless people.
