FAQ 27: Are there other similar organisations in other parts of the world?
As far as we can see, Ekklesia is a unique combination of think-tank, news service, discussion forum and action centre. There are people who think in a similar post-Christendom vein to us in the Ekklesia Project and Kingdom Now (both USA) and in various Anabaptist associations across the world. We feel affinity with the historic peace churches, Sojourners-Call to Renewal, Pax Christi, the Fellowship of Reconciliation, our Root and Branch partners, Catholic Worker, the Center for Contemplation and Action, various Mennonite peace and justice initiatives, many parts of the ‘emerging church’ movement, base Christian communities, Women and the Church, ecumenical projects, and a whole range of other grassroots initiatives, too numerous to mention. Whether they reciprocate that feeling is up to them, of course!
