Faith, politics and peace in an age of Trump
'Faith, Politics and Peace in the Age of President Trump' is a discussion organised by the Edinburgh Inter-Faith Association and Uniting for Peace and will take place on Thursday 27 April 2017
The meeting venue is Annandale Street Mosque (43-45 Annandale St, Edinburgh EH7 4AZ), starting at 7.00pm.
The speakers: are Professor Jolyon Mitchell (Director of Centre for Theology and Public Issues, CTPI, at the University of Edinburgh) on 'Faith and Peace-Building in a Divided World'; Imam Hassan Rabbani (Annandale Street Mosque) on the main theme; and the Rev Brian Cooper (Churches / Inter-Faith Secretary, Uniting for Peace) on 'Moral Challenges of Populism'.
